Hyderabad has topped high in the institutional investments for the year 2021 as per JLL’s Capital Markets Update Q4 2021.

The buying spree has increased rapidly in the past 2 years with more demand in agricultural land. Government-led infrastructure development is a huge support for many global firms to expand their units in Hyderabad.

Many Hyderabad-based firms, majorly pharmaceutical companies prefer investing in land more than any other asset class. They prefer to hold the land for 10-20 years to en-cash it to get 6x returns.Some of the major investments came from Hetero, Aurobindo, Divi’s Lab, Dr Reddy’s ,Morepen Laboratories and Cipla.

The city has emerged as the preferred destination for major R&D-focused companies. Hyderabad has a strong demand pipeline for leased life sciences, R&D facilities in Hyderabad. Overall, Hyderabad has become a hot pick for Real Estate with consistent increase in investments on land.
