HMDA auctions plots to the tune of Rs 137 crore.

Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority has conducted auctions for 34 plots in Turkamyamjal and 51 plots in Bahadurpally on June 28, Tuesday. These land auctions fetched around Rs 137 crore to the Telangana Government. In Turkamyamjal, a plot was sold at value Rs 62,500 per sq yard. Hyderabad has seen good rise in land prices for the past few years and we can see that the government has choose to use this opurtunity and generate revenue.
